Installation Instructions

If you do not have FX2 DealBook installed previously, please perform the following steps:

1. Click on the Download button at the top of this page to download the platform.
2. Double click on the downloaded file on your computer to run the installation
3. Follow the step by step guide on how to install the platform
4. Once installed, click on the FX2 icon on your desktop to start trading

If you have a previous version, you must completely uninstall your current version by performing the following steps:

1. Back up any layout files you wish to save and use in the new installation by performing the following steps:
1. Select File > Layouts > Manage
2. Select the layout you wish to back up from the list
3. Select Export to save the layout file
2. Uninstall the old software by going to Start > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs
3. Open My Computer > Local Disk (C:) > Program Files
4. Locate and right-click on 'Halifax Investment Services' or 'FX2' depending on the version and select Delete
5. Confirm the deletion, then download the new installation file and install it
6. Import your saved layout file by performing the following steps:
1. Select File > Layouts > Manage
2. Select Import to open the layout file you previously saved via an Export
7. Give the imported layout a name
8. Select this name from the list and select Load
